Robert Sutherland '66M (PhD), will discuss his unique career path in both academic and corporate settings, from his time as a faculty member and cancer researcher at the University of Rochester to his time as President of Varian Biosynergy. His early advocacy and vision for support of technology transfer led to the founding of the University of Rochester’s Technology Development Fund. 

Stephen Dewhurst, PhD, Vice Dean for Research, will give an update on research initiatives at the University. 

Question and answer session moderated by current toxicology student Alexandria Strohm, who will also present her own ongoing research.
