Eastman will be hosting a reunion weekend for students of Emory Remington which will take place from Thursday, June 11 – Saturday, June 13. A member of the Eastman School faculty from 1922 to 1971, Remington was regarded as one of the University of Rochester’s master teachers.
Events and activities currently planned for the weekend include an all Remington alumni trombone choir, with reading sessions and a concert featuring as many still active players as possible, group discussions about the “Chief” including anecdotes from the audience, and an evening reception.
The reunion weekend registration fee for alumni, friends, and guests is $50.00 per person. (For University of Rochester and Eastman faculty, staff and students, or children age 8 and under, the registration fee will be waived).
